Realtime Shipping Methods

By real-time we mean the shipping methods that automatically calculate shipping rates on their servers, depending on the information provided by the customer. These rates are then sent to the CellarsMarket, so that the customer could see them and make the decision on what shipping method to use.

Step 1. Create a Shipping Method

1.1. In the Administration panel, go to Administration → Shipping & Taxes → Shipping methods.

1.2. Create a new shipping method or click the name of an existing shipping method.

1.3. Set Rate calculation to Realtime.

1.4. Set Carrier to Sendle.

1.5. Configure other general settings as you see fit.

1.6. Click Save. You will then see the configuration tabs where you will add Sendle details.

In the Configure tab add your Sendle details. You get these from your Sendle account. Once added click Save.

Step 2. Test Your Shipping Method

2.1. Once you’ve configured the shipping method, click Save.

2.2. Return to the General tab.

2.3. Click Calculate shipping cost link.

2.4. Enter the desired value into the Weight (kgs) input field, and click the Test button to make a test calculation of shipping charges.

2.5 To test, add State, Suburb, and Postcode and click Recalculate Rates. If all your Sendle details and setup are correct you should see the rate charge. This is what your customer is charged for shipping.
